Pork and Beans lyrics are up! You can view them here: Weezernet: Weezer - Pork And Beans lyrics

The new single, Pork and Beans, has leaked onto the internet. Head on over to weerez.com and check it out. Enjoy!

According to .com, the first single is confirmed as being titled "Pork And Beans." Karl cites a slight chance for change, but not a very large one.

Also, other songs that are likely to be on the album: Everybody Get Dangerous, Automatic, Ms. Sweeney, "?", I'm the Greatest Man That Ever Lived, Daydreamer - if nothing else, they are all Weezer songs.

Karl also hints that the album will be self titled, and that it is likely to be referred to as "The Red Album". He also floats around a release date of June 17.

Hopefully more news is to come shortly!

On Weezer.com they mention that a new song is going to be coming out and be on the radio shortly. They gave the hint that it starts with T and ends with R, and it 12 letters long. Well, we've done the homework, and have come up with the following as some possibilities!

Tabernacular, Telecommuter, Telemarketer, Tellurometer, Tenderometer, Thereinafter, Throughither, Throughother, Trailbreaker, Tranquilizer, Transgressor, Transplanter, Troublemaker, Turbidimeter, Turbocharger

I'd say the only ones that even have a chance, though, are Trailbreaker, Tranquilizer, Transgressor, Troublemaker, Turbocharger - but I guess we'll figure it out before long here! Oh, and in case you haven't seen it, the new album is scheduled for June.

According to weezer.com, the band has started recording a new album, due out in the first half of 2008.

Also, if you haven't heard the new "Pig" demo, check it out here: http://www.thecler isy.net/Rivers%20Cuomo%20-%20Pig.mp3

In regards to Weezer and their music, there's really not much to update on. But, it seems as though Weezer is full of aspiring actors... Brian and Pat can both be seen in "Factory Girl." No idea what it's about or if it's good, so if you've seen it be sure to leave a comment and let us all know how it was!

In the next short while we will also be trying to get all of the sections of the site up-to-date. This includes the discography/pictures/etc. Once again, if you have any suggestions for new Weezer related features that aren't currently on here, leave a comment!

WeezerNet has kind of been placed on the back burner for the last while, but expect some changes in the near future.

The real question, though, is if anyone even comes here anymore?

If you do, leave a comment on this post and give us a few ideas in regards to what you would like to see in the next version of this site.

Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you!

A few days back Patrick Wilson had a birthday, so happy birthday to him!

Perfect Situation is still at #1 on the Modern Rock charts for the third straight week.

There are a few new interviews to give ya links too as well (individual, not all of Weezer):

Rivers: Blender Magazine Interview
Scott: Toledo Blade Interview

For those of you who live around a location with Best Buy, any time you purchase something there before Feb. 11 (next Saturday) you'll receive a free DVD with three live Weezer performances on it from the Sessions.

Weezer played their fourth show of the Japanese Tour in Nagoya, at yet another Club Zepp. Got a few shows left on the tour, and they should be as good as these few have been said to be.

Also, be sure to check out Rivers' list of good songs from 2005 (Harvard Crimson): Rivers' Top 20 songs of 2005

Few interesting songs on there..but uh, to each their own... Oh, and, no Weezer songs.

Weezer and the crew flew over to Japan a few days ago and has gotten a good start on the Japanese Tour. They've already played shows in Osaka and Fukuoka, and from what Karl has said on .com, these shows have all been awesome. Weezer seems to be continuing with their new energy and showmanship that they discovered in the Foozer tour, much to the delight of the fans.
